This Surry Hills Terrace was designed by Derrick MacRae at DM Designs.

The rear of the existing terrace was demolished and extensive excavation was completed, to make way for a new open plan kitchen and living area, an additional bathroom and a new laundry. The living space opens up to a new paved courtyard and entertaining area. The original carport was replaced, adding a new fully self-contained studio, providing secondary accommodation for the owners with parking underneath.

Upstairs a third bedroom was added to the back of the house, with French doors providing views looking out over the new courtyard.

Substantial works were also completed to the front façade, bringing this run-down heritage Terrace back to life.
